As Aviation Security Auditor, you assess and verify compliance across operational areas, identify vulnerabilities, report findings and support continuous improvement of the Aviation Security Management System.
Tasks
- Plan, conduct and document AVSEC audits, inspections, vulnerability assessments and compliance reviews.
- Verify compliance with applicable ICAO, EU, national, company and IOSA security requirements.
- Audit airports, stations, cargo facilities and third-party providers.
- Evaluate security controls, training, qualifications and corrective actions.
- Monitor performance indicators, compliance trends, risks and closure of findings.
- Produce audit reports, present recommendations and escalate significant concerns.
- Support regulatory inspections, risk assessments, external audits and new security initiatives.
- Promote a positive security culture.
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Specialized training in aviation security, auditing, compliance monitoring, security management or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of operational experience in security operations.
- Experience in aviation security, quality assurance, compliance monitoring or operational auditing.
- Knowledge of ICAO Annex 17, ICAO Doc 8973, EU Regulations 300/2008 and 2015/1998, national security programmes and IOSA standards.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.
- Assertive, independent and resilient, with excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
