Tasks

Your main tasks would be:

  • Customer Service: Ensuring personalized, high-quality service and promoting Lufthansa Group standards and values.
  • Operations: Coordinating daily station operations, handling irregularities and special assistance requirements.
  • Quality & Performance: Monitoring service quality and supplier performance and implementing corrective actions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety, security, emergency and regulatory requirements.
  • People & Training: Guiding airline and supplier staff and supporting workforce planning and training.
  • Communication & Reporting: Managing communication with customers, crews, authorities and partners, and ensuring accurate operational reporting.

Coordinating daily airport operations behind the scenes — from managing ground handling partners and resolving operational challenges to ensuring smooth communication, safety, service quality and a seamless passenger experience. 

Requirements

What are the formal requirements?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of demonstrated experience in ground operations.
  • Previous leadership or team coordination experience is desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish skills required.
  • Good knowledge of airport procedures, ground handling processes and aviation operations.
  • Knowledge of Lufthansa Group (LHG) operators, procedures and requirements.
  • Experience working with other airlines and/or service partners is desirable.
  • Successful completion of training in Passenger Services and/or Aircraft Handling.
  • Proficiency in aviation-specific software and operational tools.
  • Strong project management, organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
