Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Design new repair solutions for damages not covered by manuals, under company's EASA Design Organization standards
  • Develop repair solutions and coordinate approval processes with authorities such as FAA DER and other regulatory bodies
  • Create and implement new processes to improve quality, reliability and cost-efficiency
  • Lead major projects including new repair capability development and new product capability setup
  • Maintain close communication with company's engineers regarding design and substantiation issues in daily operations
  • Collaborate with company's engineers on important repair development projects, select optimal solutions, and oversee implementation of new repairs and processes
  • Provide technical support and advisory services to workshop personnel
  • Assist Engineering Administration in the procurement of necessary documents for design and development activities

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is desirable
  • Relevant professional experience in an aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) workshop or engineering environment is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of Design Organisation Approval (DOA), Designated Engineering Representative (DER), Certification of Aircraft and Related Products, Parts and Appliances, and of Design and Production Organisations (EASA) Part 21 experience
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required. Knowledge of German or any additional language would be considered an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willing to travel as per business requirement
  • Company will provide relocation assistance
