Tasks
As an intern, you will support the team in the implementation and development of repair projects for engine components. In doing so, you will gain insight into project management and technical development processes within an international MRO environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining practical skills with a focus on assisting with the planning, organization, and tracking of projects related to repair implementation and development
- Collaborating on the creation of project plans, status reports, presentations, and management documents
- Supporting improvements to processes, products, and technologies in the field of engine maintenance
- Coordinating interfaces with specialized departments, workshops, engineering teams, and external partners
- One-week hands-on training in production for technical onboarding
- Collaborating on root cause analyses to identify the causes of failures and derive appropriate corrective actions
- Supporting the development and approval of repairs for engine components in accordance with aviation regulations
- Participation in workshops

Requirements
To complete an internship at our company, you must be in at least your third semester of study in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a comparable technical degree program at the time of the internship.
- Proof of enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or an internship between the bachelor’s and master’s programs (Gap Year)
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- High level of initiative, ability to work in a team, and organizational skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Initial experience with CAD systems is a plus
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
