Your responsibilities in detail:

  • Gain practical experience by contributing to the development of the Lufthansa Group’s fleet strategy and supporting key strategic planning
  • Participate in the analysis and identification of future aircraft requirements
  • Contribute to the planning, modeling, and evaluation of various fleet scenarios
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to monitor trends and developments
  • Assist in addressing current strategic topics and preparing analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for top management
  • Participating in regular working sessions, meetings, and workshops, while actively contributing to discussions and decision-making processes
  • Support the development of recommendations and decision-making frameworks for fleet management and strategic planning initiatives

Requirements

  • At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
  • You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with your application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in economics (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering, aviation management), a STEM field, or a comparable program
  • You are passionate about aviation and have already studied the field in depth
  • You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, quick comprehension, and a strong willingness to communicate
