Tasks

The innovation team brings together like-minded experts, facilitates ideation formats and innovation communities, tests ideas early in our labs, and provides straightforward financing for prototype development. Join our dynamic team spread across Vienna, Zurich, and Frankfurt.  

We are looking for an innovation intern who supports us with the following tasks:

  • Support planning and organization of our virtual and on-site formats, such as training, workshops, events, and pitch sessions
  • Support in piloting and testing innovative ideas and cutting-edge technologies across the group
  • Help build and maintain internal innovation community networks across the Lufthansa Group
  • Support project management activities (tracking progress, coordinating stakeholders, preparing briefings)
  • Support stakeholder communication and alignment across different business units
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of innovation formats and processes
  • Help track KPIs and the impact of innovation initiatives

Requirements

Our team is diverse in nationality and background, valuing creativity and initiative over your specific degree. We’re seeking someone who brings fresh ideas to our team, values cross-departmental collaboration, and who works independently yet enjoys teamwork. 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in any area 
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, aviation, and technology
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence in working with diverse, international teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with coordinating and organizing events is preferred but not required
