Tasks

The Finance Department is responsible for a wide range of areas, including accounting, reporting, and payment processing, as well as actuarial reserving and procurement.

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Invoice creation and mailing
  • Support with quarterly reports and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of reports, statistics, analyses, and presentations in the financial context of an insurance company
  • Maintenance of internal company databases and information systems
  • Data analysis and processing

Requirements

We are looking for an energetic team member who is fun, passionate, and eager to learn. Does this sound like you?

  • Enrolled student (m/f/other) majoring in economics, business informatics, tax law, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of business processes
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel), preferably also experience with Office 365 and, if applicable, Tableau
  • Availability to work at least 2–3 days a week (20 hours)
  • Fluent German
  • English skills are a plus
  • Independent, motivated, communicative, flexible, and reliable
  • High sense of responsibility and meticulous work ethic
