Tasks
As part of your role as Finance and Accounting Specialist (Asset Accounting) (m/f/diverse), you will be responsible for preparing and carrying out group consolidation and/or the preparation of separate financial statements by:
- Independently developing solution proposals for issues relating to group accounting or separate financial statements
- Independently supporting group companies with questions relating to group accounting and statutory (local GAAP) financial statements
- Coordinating and ensuring monthly reporting as well as quarterly and annual financial statement processes
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for asset accounting topics
- Preparing reports, analyses, documents for the management board, supervisory board, and other stakeholders
- Performing fixed asset accounting, handling complex asset-related topics, ensuring analysis and quality assurance of fixed assets
- Conducting tests for FI-related IT systems, collaborating with Product Owners
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Public Finance, Law, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or related
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, national and international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, GAAP)
- Good knowledge of tax law and financial regulations
- Experience with internal control systems and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SAP modul FI AA
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and good command of PowerPoint
- Fluent English (min. B2, pref. C1)
