Tasks
As a Financial Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services for small and medium-sized group companies while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal regulations.
- Perform end-to-end accounting activities for assigned entities
- Process and post accounting documents and business transactions
- Maintain accounting and master data in ERP systems
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment transactions
- Prepare cash flow reports and support treasury-related activities
- Create provisions, accruals, fixed asset postings, and payroll-related accounting entries
- Prepare internal financial reports and support tax reporting processes
- Act as a subject matter expert across Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Tax, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes
- Deliver workshops and training sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Knowledge of basic taxation principles
- Solid knowledge of General Ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Good understanding of HGB and IFRS standards
- Experience with SAP FI; experience with other ERP systems is considered an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Very good command of German and English (min. B2 level)
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, including the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to present ideas and influence others
