Junior Accountant/Accountant in OTC is responsible for independent handling of finance accounting based on vouchers and data received in his area of responsibility (accounts receivables) as well as for data verification, investigation and decision making concerning outgoing invoices.

Junior Accountant/Accountant in OTC is responsible for independent handling of finance accounting based on vouchers and data received in his area of responsibility (accounts receivables) as well as for data verification, investigation and decision making concerning outgoing invoices.

Tasks

  • Receive and issue accounting documents either physically or electronically, and process data and vouchers according to accounts receivable procedures, general accounting principles, chart of accounts, cost center structures, and applicable country‑specific work instructions
  • Check and reconcile accounting documents and data received with regard to completeness, and clarify incomplete information according to accounts receivable procedures
  • Check and obtain necessary authorizations according to procedures
  • Initiate creation or changes of customer master data in the accounting system
  • Handle cash collection and customer inquiries
  • Know and follow confidential data protection rules (GDPR)
  • Ensure that the accepted service level regarding timeliness and accuracy of accounting data processing is maintained within the area of responsibility
  • Realize tasks defined in yearly objectives and other tasks assigned by the supervisor
  • Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing according to assigned procedures

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines
  • Any corporate/administrative/internship experience will be and asset for Junior Advisor position / At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting for Accountant position
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) - min. B1/B2 level
  • Excellent command of all Windows applications
