The Warehousing & Logistics Manager ensures availability, compliance and movement of aircraft parts and tooling to support uninterrupted maintenance operations, leading warehousing, logistics, customs and dangerous goods activities within an aviation environment.
Tasks
- Manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for aircraft parts and tooling
- Lead warehouse and inventory operations across multiple storage locations
- Ensure stock accuracy, traceability and operational readiness
- Oversee global freight flows, including time-critical AOG shipments
- Manage logistics providers, contracts and transport performance
- Ensure compliance with customs, export control and dangerous goods regulations
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with authorities
- Lead regulatory audits (EASA/FAA/IATA) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 FTE
- Ensure AOG support outside office hours
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Bachelor in Industrial or Civil Engineering and/or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, ideally within aviation maintenance
- Proven leadership experience in an operational environment
- Strong knowledge of logistics, airworthiness and regulatory compliance
- Experience with Dangerous Goods and customs regulations
- Understanding of cost accounting and financial impact
- Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
- AMOS or ERP system knowledge
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with high ownership and integrity
