We are currently looking for you to join our consultancy team at our office in Sao Paulo as an Aviation Associate Consultant.

In the position as Aviation Associate Consultant, you will work in international consultancy projects.

In the position as Aviation Associate Consultant, you will work in international consultancy projects.

 

 

Tasks

You will participate in aviation projects, leading or supporting workstreams under the guidance of a Consultant or Manager. This entails creating tailored consultancy solutions, tools and methods. These projects may be in fields other than Network & Fleet Management.

 

 

You will

  • work on consulting projects with our customers (airlines, airports, ...) 
  • assume an active role in internal knowledge transfer and knowledge management by finalization of project documentation, preparation of lessons learned and case studies, filing according to Lufthansa Consulting standards
  • actively contribute to the work of your Solution Group in developing products, tools and methods
  • support proposal preparation and participate in sales pitches
  • participate in company-wide tasks (e.g. introducing and training new employees, optimizing internal processes, participating in internal projects and working groups)
  • assist in the management of administrative tasks for our Brazilian Company

Requirements

Your university degree (BA, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or similar degrees) as well as your practical experience in the aviation industry form a solid foundation on which you have built your skills and knowledge in consulting.

In addition, we would like you to have

  • Good knowledge of Airline Network & Fleet Management e.g. network design, fleet selection (scenario evaluation and development of phase-in/phase-out plans) and scheduling
  • First experience in consultancy and in the Aviation industry 
  • Good insight into airline network planning IT tools and data sources in airline network management. Familiarity with big data analytics and machine learning, especially in Network Planning is a significan plus
  • Project management experience and knowledge of project control
  • Strong analytical skills, structured and pragmatic approach and ability of abstract thinking
  • Enthusiasm and ability for intensive business travel worldwide
  • Very good communication skills, business fluency in Portuguese and English; German or Spanish are an advantage
