Tasks

The Duty Manager is responsible for: 

  • Build relationships with premium customers and enhance top customer recognition
  • Act as Customer Care Ambassador
  • Ensure staff embody carrier values and provide personalized service
  • Verify staff appearance and attitude meet standards
  • Conduct daily briefings (where feasible) and oversee frontline operations
  • Manage station processes (e.g., flight editing, crew dispos, special interests)
  • Support alternate airport handling and mitigate conflicts (with Station Manager)
  • Promote quality awareness and address service shortcomings
  • Assist Station Manager with organization, audits, and process optimization
  • Apply Safety Management System standards and promote a safety culture
  • Report irregularities, collaborate with authorities, and ensure clear passenger communication


* Participate in other duties as assigned

Requirements

The ideal Duty Manager should meet the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience thereof a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in ground operations is required
  • Leadership experience desired
  • Fluency in English and Spanish language required
  • Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
  • PC and aviation specific supported software
  • Tools including all MS Office programs
  • Mange constant time pressure
  • Mange high stress levels
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments
  • Tolerance for working in noisy environments
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent responsibility
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid passport
  • A psychological assessment may be required
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Colombia
  • Must be willing to work shifts
