Tasks
The IBM ACE Operations is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and support of enterprise integration platforms across middleware, messaging, and event streaming technologies. The role focuses on ensuring stable system operations, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of integration
- Manage and operate enterprise integration platforms (IBM MQ, IBM ACE, Kafka, HiveMQ, Gravitee)
- Perform 2nd and 3rd level incident management and root cause analysis
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability
- Execute recovery and troubleshooting activities
- Support deployments, releases, and rollouts
- Maintain pipelines, scripts, and automation processes
- Manage system configurations, queues, APIs, and integrations
- Optimize performance and stability of integration platforms
- Identify and recommend service improvements (CSI)
- Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation
- Assist in onboarding and commissioning new systems
- Work closely with client teams and other stakeholders
- Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding activities

- Event Streaming: Kafka (Azure EventHub, IBM Event Streams)
- API Management: Gravitee
- MQTT: HiveMQ
- Scripting & Automation (e.g., Shell, Python, CI/CD pipelines)
- Linux system administration (Red Hat preferred)
- IBM MQ Administrator Certification
- IBM App Connect Enterprise Certification
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Gravitee API certifications
- MQTT / HiveMQ certifications (nice to have)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Structured and process-driven working style
- Ability to work in operational and project environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes/ ITIL Certified is considered +
- Experience in aviation or logistics environments
- Business English
