Tasks

  • Own assigned data domains, reports, and dashboards
  • Define and prioritize requirements, KPIs, and reporting standards
  • Take accountability for data quality and fitness for purpose
  • Act as main contact for Business Units and senior stakeholders
  • Introduce new BI capabilities
  • Translate complex needs into actionable reporting concepts
  • Identify opportunities to improve steering through data
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and protection rules
  • Approve data usage, access models, and documentation
  • Ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable
  • Collaborate with IT on data systems and reporting integration
  • Assist with troubleshooting, upgrades, and innovation
  • Develop reporting and analytics portfolio
  • Manage lifecycle of reports and data products
  • Lead efficiency, automation, and optimization initiatives
  • Remove redundancies and migrate legacy solutions
  • Act as subject‑matter expert
  • Mentor analysts and support capability development
  • Contribute to trainings and best‑practice sharing

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or comparable field
  • +5 years of business experience, preferably in:
    • Business reporting, data management, analytics, or controlling
    • Working with complex, multi-source enterprise data environments
  • Fluency in English
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirement steering
  • Experience with data governance, KPI frameworks, or data product ownership is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of data models, BI architectures, and reporting processes
  • Experience with BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Solid knowledge of SAP-based data environments and data interfaces
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
