Tasks

  • Design and develop OO ABAP & Procedural ABAP applications, applying clean code principles, modularization techniques, and performance optimization strategies
  • Build and enhance data models using Data Dictionary objects 
  • Implement integrations using BAPI, RFC, IDoc processing, Web Services for communication with SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Develop SAP enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, and implicit/explicit enhancement techniques
  • Create and maintain forms using Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms
  • Build UI applications using ABAP Web Dynpro and extend UI services using OData, CDS annotations, and Fiori-compatible backend services
  • Implement ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model services, including behavior definitions, projection views, and service bindings

Requirements

  • Strong development skills in designing, developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP language in SAP NetWeaver (Workflow, BAPI, Data Dictionary, Reports, Dialogue, RFCs, SAP Enhancements, SAP Script, Smart Forms, Search Help, ABAP WebDynpro, Adobe Forms)
  • Strong experience in customizing and extending existing ABAP-based applications in the BTP environment, understanding of BTP architecture design patterns and best practices
  • General knowledge in ABAP Cloud Development concepts such as  (RAP), Core Data Services, OData services and UI annotations
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP Cloud Development tools such as ABAP Development Tools & Operations and Git-based source code management
  • Knowledge in Change and Transport system (CTS) and release activities for On-prem/Cloud applications
