Tasks
- Provide I/II level technical support to users
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, network, M365)
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and core services
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Oversee network (VLAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls)
- Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery readiness
- Support IT projects and propose infrastructure improvements
- Manage hardware/software lifecycle, licenses, and inventory
- Deliver user training and documentation
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2–3+ years of experience as System Administrator or IT System Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and Windows OS environment
- Knowledge of Citrix and scripting (PowerShell) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel
Italian nationality or a valid residence and working permission for Italy.
