Tasks

  • Implement data governance and data quality frameworks for finance data
  • Design pragmatic and compliant solutions for:
    • data access control
    • data sharing across the organization
  • Collaborate with Lufthansa Group standardization bodies on governance frameworks
  • Identify stakeholders and ensure effective onboarding and rollout of new policies
  • Act as a consultant for:
    • data owners
    • data scientists
    • business analysts
  • Participate in data-related projects
  • Drive a “data quality first” mindset:
    • define quality metrics
    • establish continuous improvement cycles
  • Lead cross-domain initiatives (e.g. data catalogue)
  • Ensure transparent and regular communication of initiatives and results
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the Lufthansa Group data community

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • digital transformation
    • data management
    • process management
  • Experience working with data and processes (airline industry is a plus)
  • Degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems or similar
  • Solid understanding of:
    • data quality
    • data lifecycle
    • data management concepts
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Experience in process design and optimization
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Very good command of English (German is a plus)
