Tasks
- You develop data-driven analyses of complex operational topics, connect multiple data sources, and derive actionable recommendations to improve operational stability. In doing so, you play a key role in maintaining our position as currently the third most punctual airline in Europe.
- You create strategic analyses to advance operations at our Vienna hub and build solid decision-making foundations for operational and strategic decisions.
- In strategic projects, you work closely with cross-functional stakeholders at Austrian and across the Lufthansa Group, actively shaping the future of airline operations.
- You initiate and implement automation initiatives to drive efficiency improvements in Ops Performance Management.

Requirements
- You hold a university degree, ideally in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Aviation Management.
- You bring 2–3 years of professional experience, ideally in an operational role within an airline.
- You have solid knowledge of data and KPI analyses and work confidently with tools such as Tableau or Power BI; experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- You have experience working with Python and SQL.
- You work independently and analytically, break down complex topics, and present findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- You are a team player.
- You have German language skills, which are considered an advantage.
- You have unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market.
