Tasks
The Customer Sales and Service Agent is responsible for:
- Provide professional customer service to cargo clients in the respective sales area
- Local sales teams, other departments, head office, other stations in the network, handling agents (e.g. loading of exports)
- Co-ordinate with warehouse and ground handling agents or load control to ensure operations run smooth and the highest quality standards are met (e.g. flown as booked levels, maximize capacity utilization).
- Handling agent supervision: Ensure compliance to regulations, procedures and instructions (e.g. CHM, AHM, DG…)
- Take proactive action when operational constraints are expected. Irregularity prevention/mitigation also during eventsof “force majeure” (e.g. strikes, weather influence, aircraft change, etc.)

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- Associates degree preferred
- Good command of English language: fluent in speaking and writing
- Any other languages are of advantage
- Logistics or customer service training is an asset
- Experience in customer service and/or operations
- Ideally experienced in air cargo / logistics and/or aviation environment
- Good MS office user knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Initiative, reliable and quality oriented working attitude
- Professional attitude with internal and external interfaces
- Impeccable customer service attitude
- Comfortable working in a challenging but exciting business environment
- Ability to convincingly promote the quality image of Swiss WorldCargo
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
