Tasks

  • Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks and modifications including installations, adjustments, inspections, repairs, functional tests and the certification of these activities
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed to the highest quality standards and sign off the related documentation
  • Coordinate and support non-certifying Aircraft Mechanics contributing to the timely and efficient execution of tasks in accordance with the project plan
  • Act as Certifying Staff in a specific area, ensuring that all maintenance work complies with required standards and regulations
  • Follow approved standards, ensuring adherence to all organizational best practices, and regulations

Lufthansa Technik Sofia

Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. It performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus 320 family and Boeing B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

Requirements

  • Technical education
  • Valid B1 or B2 EASA license for A320 Family and/or B737
  • Proven experience in aircraft base maintenance
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel abroad for AOG projects
  • Valid driving license and international passport required for travel
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexible working hours
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Team player with a positive attitude and communication
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including confined space access and working at heights
  • Applicants must have the unrestricted legal right to work in Bulgaria at the time of application. Please note that visa sponsorship, work permit support, and relocation assistance are not available for this role
