Lead Lufthansa Cargo’s success as Revenue & Capacity Management Team Lead! Oversee performance, optimize capacities and rates, and steer market strategy to boost revenue. Drive results by analyzing hub performance and leading your team to meet company targets in a dynamic, global environment.
Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
Capacity Steering
- Oversees and adjusts the capacity of the flights
- Segments capacity in allocated and non-allocated capacity
- Oversees and defines access rate parameters
- Responsible for long-term contracts and adjustment if necessary
- Monitors flight event performance throughout the booking period
- Defines and adjusts queue settings and automatic confirmation settings
Flight Optimization
- Oversees and initiates all necessary checks for queued shipments and confirms or declines based on operational and commercial circumstances
- Responsible for transfer of flights to the local handling organization and rebooking shipments
General
- Implementation of the ex hub Revenue Management approach and necessary concepts, methods and standards
- Functional leadership, development, and qualification of local Revenue and Capacity Optimizers
- Manage the key interface departments (Revenue Management HQ, Pricing, Sales, Handling, Commercial)
- Management and improvement of commercial and operational Revenue.
Behind the scenes
Requirements
The ideal Revenue & Capacity Management Team Lead should meet the following requirements:
- 8 years professional Air cargo experience in Revenue and Capacity Management, International Market and Pricing Optimization, Performance and Opportunity Management
- Master’s degree (MSc) in Air Transport Management
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Good general Air cargo knowledge
- Aircraft dimensions and loadability rules including the loadability check.
- Calculation of shipment related data such as: density, stowage loss, revenue metrics
- Good knowledge of the carrier-specific processes and restrictions
- Knowledge of the local market and process structure
- Reading and understanding schedule information
- Good understanding of revenue management fundamentals and underlying principles including multi-segment shipment acceptance, consideration of costs
- Computer skills: MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Must possess a legal work permitin Italy.
