Tasks
How do we elevate reliability? This role involves the following tasks, among others
- Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accounts
- Identifies/manages opportunities with existing customers to negotiate new profitable long-term business
- Acquires new customers using sales tools and external information
- (Re-)Negotiates special rate agreements and LTCs considering market and performance
- Develops/sells customer-oriented logistic solutions with Handling and Inside Sales
- Shares key customer information with Commercial Manager and teams
- Acts as “touch point” for Claims and Complaints for transfer to CST/accounting
- Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation
- Enters into transportation agreements with customers
* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
Are you ready to Take-off with us? Know more about the requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- 2-3 years previous cargo experience, preferred sales experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industry
- Excellent skills of written and spoken English language
- German language desirable
- Airfreight, logistics, transportation & sales knowledge required
- Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook - Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a valid work permit in the U.S.
