Tasks

  • Sourcing and supply of urgently needed aircraft spare parts
  • Negotiation of terms and conditions allowing immediate availability
  • Decision making towards most suitable and economic solution (purchasing, loan, exchange)
  • Organization of best mode of transport
  • Tracking and tracing of specific shipments worldwide
  • Close coordination of cases with aircraft maintenance
  • Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Willing to work shift (including night shift)
  • Technical and / or commercial education 
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics and / or procurement, preferably in an Aviation environment
  • Sound IT know-how (MS Office), AMOS knowledge is an advantage
  • English fluently (oral and written), any other language as an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Displays self confidence
  • Team player
