Tasks

 The Flight Dispatch JFK is responsible for:

  • Special Tasks as assigned by Manager Flight Dispatcher or Duty Officer
  • Maintaining highest level of service to Swiss and all customers
  • Optimize flight operations processes
  • Analyze and evaluate meteorological information
  • Flight Planning for SWISS International Airlines according to Company OpSpecs Part 129
  • SWISS International Airlines Mission support / Flight Watch
  • Crew Briefings. Support/Flight watch for various third-party customers
  • Direct contact with Zurich Headquarter and OCC regarding daily OPS matters for USA and
    Canada

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • USA FAA Flight Dispatcher License
  • Available to work all shifts including night / weekends / holidays
  • Available to attend initial training 3 consecutive weeks in Zurich Switzerland
  • Quality work with attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Willingness to take on new and challenging tasks
  • Able to think and solve complicated problems with minimum supervision
  • Work Independently
  • Able to travel upon request
