Tasks
During your internship, you will gain exciting insights and valuable practical experience in the direct assessment and development of aircraft components. Your range of activities will include practical work in the laboratory, data and process development and quality management.
- Participation in material technology studies in the field of metals and plastics
- Process development through optimization of laboratory processes, standardization and digitalization
- Carrying out measurements, evaluations and analyses of measurement data
- Preparation of working documents in accordance with aviation standards
- If necessary, independent sub-project management within strategic projects

Requirements
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (gap year)
- At the time of the internship, you are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree course in materials technology, plastics technology, engineering, aerospace technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable degree course
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner Initial experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python) and with large language models is an advantage
- You are interested in the interaction of laboratory work and quality management
- You have very good IT skills, ideally in connection with databases
