Tasks
- Develop & steer the Lufthansa Group’s strategic airline transformation roadmap, with a focus on new revenue streams, digitalization, AI adoption &new business models
- Lead selected cross-functional airline transformation projects
- Foster a culture of innovation & agility, enabling teams to adapt to new technologies & ways of working
- Act as a central interface & bundler between executive leadership, business units & technology partners
- Identify, evaluate & foster the implementation of solutions across commercial, operational & customer-facing domains
- Establish KPIs & strategic monitoring to track progress on the transformation roadmap
- Continuously analyze industry trends, regulatory developments & emerging technologies
- Support the commercialization of new digital & AI-enabled products and services
- Define the future end-to-end process from an airline retail perspective
- Drive & ensure the development of key initiatives from the transformation roadmap
- Facilitate close collaboration between commercial, operational & IT teams
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred)
- +8 years’ experience in airline, consulting, or digital transformation roles, with a proven track record in leading large-scale change
- Deep understanding of AI, digitalization, and their impact on business models
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High intercultural competence and experience in international environments
- Fluent in English; German and other languages are an advantage
