Tasks

The HOC is the central control unit for LH flight operations in Munich. It is responsible for traffic and passenger control management for all flights to and from Munich.

  • Evaluation and monitoring of operational key figures of performance management to ensure successful flight operations at the MUC hub, for example with Excel or Celonis
  • Further development and support of processes, dashboards and performance dialogs
  • Support in various ad-hoc projects on the topics of traffic management and passenger connectivity
  • Assistance in updating and creating process descriptions, briefing documents and manuals
  • Administrative support in the day-to-day operations of Hub and Operations Control
  • Preparation and implementation of events, workshops and visitor tours
  • Regular update of the emergency infrastructure as well as support and organization of emergency exercises

Requirements

We offer you a flexible start to your internship with us.

To get started with us, you should fulfill the following requirements:

  • You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
  • You are enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and certificate of mandatory internship must be attached to the application) or internship between the Bachelor and Master studies (Gap Year)
  • You have analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a strategic understanding
  • You have a logical understanding of numbers
  • You enjoy working with nice colleagues in a large team
  • You are interested in familiarizing yourself with new areas of responsibility
  • You are familiar with MS Office applications and Excel does not scare you off
  • You enjoy organizing and planning events
  • You are enthusiastic about airplanes and airports
