Tasks
As Tool and Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining test systems, benches, equipment, tooling, and fixtures for aircraft component maintenance, ensuring full compliance with airworthiness and legal requirements.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Manage projects within the scope of T&E development or optimization and be fully responsible for cost, lead times and quality targets.
- Define, adapt and further develop test procedures and systems and be responsible for design, applicability and approval under EASA145 and 21J requirements.
- Design, procure, and maintain test benches and equipment in line with EASA standards.
- Perform complex fault isolation in combination of test unit and test system and improve system performance by using Matlab/Simulink system modelling.
- Define maintenance and training concepts to ensure equipment availability.
- Conduct economic analyses and support special initiatives.

Requirements
We are looking for a Tool and Equipment Engineer that will design and provide tools and test equipment by evaluating processes, systems and products to ensure quality, functionality and compliance with technical specifications and airworthiness requirements.
- Very good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control system Engineering
- Expertise in electric/electronic systems development, control and measurement technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, data analysis and optimize system performance
- Very good computer, hardware design and programming skills in Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python, LabVIEW.
- Strong project implementation and management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office,SAP,CAD,and Visio.
- Knowledge of aviation legislation and business fundamentals.
