The ‘Consulting & Managed Services’ department is responsible for the group-wide procurement of services, including strategy and IT consulting, M&A, legal and financial services, as well as training and coaching.
- Strategic responsibility for defined product groups within the Lufthansa Group
- Supplier management: selection, evaluation and further development of strategic partners
- Conducting Group-wide contract negotiations and concluding complex procurement projects
- Harmonization and implementation of purchasing processes and guidelines in accordance with legal requirements and internal regulations and guidelines of the Lufthansa Group
- Coordination and harmonization of purchasing activities within the framework of supply chain management as well as close cooperation with supply chain managers, specialist departments, service providers and global category management

- You have a degree in economics and at least three years' experience in strategic purchasing - or comparable, long-term
professional experience in category management. - You are willing to travel.
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a high level of intercultural competence.
- You deal confidently with conflict situations and are convincing in complex negotiations.
- You are characterized by organizational talent and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- You think analytically and conceptually and find efficient solutions.
