You, as an Application Manager, have the unique opportunity to drive digitalization and innovation in close cooperation with various departments. Seize this chance to actively shape the future and make a significant contribution to the development of our digital training solutions.

  • Managing our training application portfolio (LMS/LXP, performance, test and assessment systems, XR training applications)
  • Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the systems in collaboration with our internal and external service provider
  • 2nd Level Support
  • Close collaboration with the training departments on digitization projects and process optimization
  • Power-user training and stakeholder management

We are seeking a proactive team member with a strong background in computer science, a few years of experience, and expertise in IT service management. The ideal candidate excels in managing training applications, communicates effectively, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in ITSM
  • Experience in managing training applications or comparable applications is highly desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Solution- and service-oriented, independent working style

Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland AG (LAT CH), with a total of around 300 employees, is part of the Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. At the LAT Training Center in Zurich-Opfikon, around 8’000 graduates undergo their initial and further training as cockpit and cabin crews every year. This also includes basic pilot training at the European Flight Academy in Zurich (theory) and Grenchen (practice). LAT Switzerland's customers include SWISS, Edelweiss, other airlines as well as Rega and the Swiss Air Force.
