Internship Component Development

To support our hardware development team, we are looking for a dedicated intern (m/f/d) to help with the structured integration of 3D CAD data into our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system Windchill.

The internship is scheduled to start in January 2026 for 6 months. The internship will be remunerated.

Our "Original Equipment Innovation" product range develops innovative and tangible cabin products. As an intern (m/f/d) you will support the development of these products.

The tasks include:

  • Support with the transfer of 3D CAD data (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks) into the PLM system Windchill
  • Maintaining and structuring product data and metadata in accordance with internal standards
  • Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of parts lists and documentation
  • Coordination with designers and system administrators to ensure consistent data flows
  • Supporting the optimization of data integration processes

To complete an internship in our company, you must be at least in your third semester at the time of the internship.

  • Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed) or internship between Bachelor's and Master's degree (gap year)
  • Basic knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA)
  • Interest in PLM systems, ideally initial experience with Windchill
  • Structured way of working and commitment
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving mentality
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Language skills in German B1/B2 required

Advantageous:

  • Experience with data management or documentation processes in technical development environments
  • Knowledge of the application of PLM standards and workflows
