Follow-up & coordination on technical troubleshooting requirements in the daily operation of the Brussels Airlines fleet whilst taking ownership of non-standard troubleshooting or complex technical irregularities. Monitor aircraft & predictive systems to prevent recurrency, negative trends or AOG risks.

The Trouble Shooter, reports to the CAMO MCC Manager (functional) & to the P145 Planning Manager (disciplinary).
- Performs trouble shooting services in accordance with the MOE, CAME, ProX, OEM data in compliance to NAA & EASA
- Ensures Comm-links between the P145 Operation Manager, MCC Mgr, MCC, Engineering, Plan., Trg & Maintenance
- Performs ad-hoc in-depth troubleshooting - systematic approach & technical assistance to flight crew & technicians
- A/C Systems, post flight reports & open workorders, discover negative trends, recurrency or AOG risks
- Follow-up & in-depth screening of MEL Items
- Create, follow-up & solve troubleshooting cases for individual A/C + repetitive problems
- ‘Electronic Pending Shelf'
- Records new/complex problems with final resume (Technical Case Manager)
- Reports deficiencies/developing fleetwide problems to Engineering, in the daily Ops to MCC Manager + MCC + Troubleshooting Dept
Flight privileges, Discounts / shopping, Attractive company pension scheme, Diversity programmes
- Bachelor in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering OR equivalent relevant experience in aircraft maintenance (EASA Part 66 License)
- Minimum 5 years of B1/B2 (OR equivalent relevant) XP
- Good knowledge of EASA Part M, P145, P66
- Holder of (active) A/C type ratings operated by Brussels Airlines is a plus
- Good Comms skills, ability to prioritize, work independently/as part of a team, reliable and motivated, good time management skills
- Comprehensive negotiation & communication skills in English (written & spoken)
- Very well developed analytical skill
- Ability to approach a situation/problem in a structured, methodical & logical way
- Operational awareness
- Able to work under time pressure
- Excellent decision making skills
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
- AMOS knowledge is a plus
