The Sales Executive is responsible for:
- Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts and acquire new customers using sales tools and market information.
- Create and negotiate transportation rate offers and agreements, ensuring profitability and alignment with market developments.
- Identify opportunities with existing customers, develop logistics solutions, and manage claims/irregularities.
- Conduct market/account analysis, prepare action plans, and maintain CRM with customer data and activities.
- Perform sales visits, presentations, and customer events, promoting SWC portfolio, eChannel usage, and eAWB.
- Share customer insights with Commercial Manager, Inside Sales, and Key Account Management.
* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- Min. 10 years previous cargo experience, preferred sales experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industry
- English and Japanese language required
- Knowledge in airfreight, logistics, transportation and sales required
- Advanced IT knowledge required, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must possess a legal work permit in country of employment
