Your tasks as Tooling and Test Equipment Engineer, Mechanical may include, among others:

  • Specify or develop tools and test fixtures as needed for new products
  • Write technical specifications and create accurate and timely project schedules
  • Create test instructions and procedures for component testing and repairs
  • Assist in training production staff in the proper usage of tools/fixtures
  • Perform design studies; Help prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies for review and approval by management; Assist in project coordination
  • Provide engineering support to production for current repair capabilities
  • Interface with customer technical representatives to refine specifications requirements, design goals, and schedules
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements

You must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in Aviation (MRO) Engineering desirable
  • Experience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirements. Navigate efficiently through repair documentation
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Good knowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO)
  • Good knowledge in Aviation law, both EASA and FAA desired
  • Skilled in MS Office and SolidWorks as user
  • Excellent safety and security
  • Excellent customer service
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
