Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Support the shop with specialized expertise concerning tooling and product testing
  • Provide engineering support to production for current repair capabilities
  • Design or redesign tooling using SolidWorks and generate drawings to have the parts machined
  • Assist engineers with creating test instructions and procedures for component testing and repairs. Assist in training maintenance staff in the proper usage of tools/fixtures
  • Assist with design studies
  • Interface with customer technical representatives to refine specifications requirements, design goals, and schedules
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
  • Support facility maintenance with routine and non-routine tasks

  • College degree/vocational training required
  • 10+ years of experience with tooling and equipment used in the repair and testing of aircraft components required
  • Experience using SolidWorks to create models and engineering drawings required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Familiar with Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment and industrial electrical troubleshooting required
  • Good knowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO) required
  • Skilled in MS Office and SolidWorks as user
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent safety and security
  • Excellent customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
