The jobholder represents the department’s interests with various internal and external stakeholders, with a main focus on crew management system responsibilities as well as assist the Head and Deputy of Crew Control in all matters.
In addition, there are dedicated tasks that enable the jobholder to develop in the leadership role.
- Project Lead and coordination for CMS initiatives and CLA matters covering Crew Control topics including collaboration with CMS provider
- Execute change management processes related to CMS and operational projects
- Team lead of SMEs and Controllers
- Ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of current crew tracking system as well as development of future systems and communication tools for Crew Control
- Definition and continuous adaptation of working processes, in particular with regard to crew management systems (CMS)
- Represents Crew Controls interest internally and externally
- Regular active duties as Shiftleader Crew Control

- University degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, Aviation Management, or equivalent education.
- Profound knowledge of flight operations, crew rostering/tracking and legal rules regarding flight time limitations
- Solid understanding of economic principles and ability to understand complex tasks
- Keen interest and ability to analyse system and business processes

- Solid understanding of change management principles and experience supporting or leading change initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership potential or initial leadership experience and strong interest to develop in this field
