As an Operational Purchasing and Supply Chain Expert,you’ll be the key contact for procurement in a new company,managing MRO facility purchases.This role includes sourcing,purchasing,supplier management,and coordinating across departments to ensure timely deliveries and contract fulfillment.

Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform purchasing activities to ensure optimal conditions (price, lead time,
    etc.) and implement cost-saving measures
  • Resolve purchase orders clarifications, including goods received and invoice discrepancies
  • Coordinate and address supply requirements across departments
  • Manage contracts and monitor supplier performance (KPIs: on-time delivery,goods receipt, invoice)
  • Coordinate between suppliers and internal teams (in English)
  • Provide feedback and status reports for management
  • Handle purchasing volumes and documentation

We’re seeking an Operational Purchasing and Supply Chain Expert to lead procurement for our new company, overseeing all aspects of MRO facility purchases. This role is key to our commercial success, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and cross-department coordination.

  • University or technical college degree in sales, economics, administration, management, or related field, with strong technical knowledge or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years professional experience in purchasing or supplier management
  • Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
  • Manufacturing/aviation background preferred
  • Strong MS Office, SAP skills, and analytical/problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible, independent, team-oriented
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Experience in procurement/buyer role, knowledge of material processes and supply chain
