The Revenue Management/Capacity Planning department is responsible for revenue-optimized planning and utilization of the simulators for cockpit and safety service training at all LAT Group locations. In addition to crews from the Lufthansa Group, numerous other airlines train on these simulators in accordance with the high quality requirements of the German Federal Aviation Authority.

Review Management/Capacity Planning plans the existing resources for LHG customers in line with long-term requirements, while in the medium term a sales-focused approach is chosen in order to meet internal and external customer needs.

As Manager Capacity Planning, you define the commercial framework conditions for the occupancy of our simulators and are responsible for revenue-optimized capacity utilization.

  • Understanding, anticipating and influencing the customer's demand for services
  • Ensuring that sufficient capacity is available, coordinating additional purchases if necessary
  • Coordinating the relationship between price, demand, capacity and customer value
  • Controlling and optimizing customer requests in the planning tool, taking into account restrictions and values with the aim of achieving revenue-optimized capacity utilization to maximize profitability
  • Taking on special tasks and project work
  • Preparing committee work
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills
  • Cost/benefit awareness, very good analytical skills and affinity for numbers
  • Completed (technical) university degree in economics, business informatics or comparable course of study with several years of relevant professional experience or vocational training, business specialization plus many years of relevant experience okay
  • Experience with methods and procedures for processing and assessing strategic issues
  • Strong strategic understanding, high willingness to innovate
  • Strong ability to work in an interdisciplinary and goal-oriented manner
  • Planned, structured working style, creativity
  • Assertiveness and ability to work in a team
