The Customer Support Engineer is the first point of contact for customers and the primary person responsible for the engine maintenance orders placed by the customer within the organization.

- Define the scope of maintenance with the customer
- Monitor and implement the agreed-upon scope of work in accordance with the customer contract and in compliance with OEM and aviation regulations
- Communicate the progress of the work and review the order if necessary
- Develop maintenance strategies for large fleet operators and discussing these with customers (sometimes on site)
- Check outgoing invoices
- Processing complaints and damage reports
- Workshop support for engine projects
- Monitoring project targets and, if necessary, initiating countermeasures in the event of deviations
- Carry out possible troubleshooting and rectification during the course of the project
- Maintaining internal company systems for processing workshop orders
- Discuss technical issues with the engine manufacturers
- Developing technical requirements to create a cost estimate/quotation draft
- Actively participate in the planning, implementation and follow-up of internal and external projects
- Preparation of presentations, recommendations for action and decision papers

- Completed engineering studies (TH/ TU/ FH) in the field of mechanical engineering, aircraft or engine construction
- Knowledge or understanding of business administration
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Confident appearance and excellent communication skills, also in other cultures
- Strong understanding in dealing with customers, especially from other cultures
- Ability to work in a team

- Willingness to travel and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in dealing with host system-based applications and modern means of communication
