Your tasks as a Transportation Supplier Manager may include, among other:

  • Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and all regulations
  • Hold Regular meetings and performance dialogues with suppliers
  • Participate in or drive tenders. Provide tender analysis and recommendations
  • Relationship Management
  • Address Systemic service failures for resolution
  • Escalation point for billing topics, service failures
  • Review service changes by a provider and ensure impact is communicated
  • Coordinate and ensure the proper onboarding of new transport providers
  • Maintain a robust Supplier Performance Reporting
  • Create reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and assist IT and Process Management in project implementation at all locations across US

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 2+ years of experience in Logistics and Vendor Relations required
  • Freight audit and billing experience required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in vendor management and transportation required
  • Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/ Outlook as user
  • Experience with aTMS system, SAP, or other ERP
  • Excellent analytical skills
