Your main tasks include, among others:
- Create detailed job cards for maintenance tasks based on engineering specifications and requirements
- Review and verify the accuracy of job cards and configuration documentation
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure all tasks are clearly defined and documented
- Develop and maintain network standards for job card writing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all documentation
- Create shop reports for customer review
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues
- Provide training and support to maintenance personnel on job card usage and configuration procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of maintenance records and configurations

Step into the role of a Technical Writer and Configuration Specialist, check the requirements below:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the aviation sector required
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Familiar with FAA Certification issues, i.e. airworthiness directives, service bulletins and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Understanding of engineering and maintenance processes
- Proficiency in documentation and configuration management systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency in documentation and configuration management systems
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Shift work / overtime
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
