As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in SWISS’s engagement in European SESAR research projects and work at the heart of our airline operations with the following tasks:
- Lead technical developments, live operational validations and implement the Target Time Management System (TTMS) product in collaboration with industry partners
- Collaborate closely with other Operations departments like Flight Dispatch and Operations Control and external partners such as Skyguide and Zurich Airport
- Design and develop innovative and tailored solutions to business problems and test them in operations by developing proof of concepts and refine them into productive tools
- Provide technical expertise in back- and front-end development for existing and new prototype tools
- Visualize and present complex information to internal and external stakeholders and partners
- Generate insights from operational data sets & trial results leading to operational improvements

We are looking for a motivated new colleague to join our team, eager to pursue innovative ideas, exploring new technologies, and applying them in practice.
- Master’s degree in aviation, engineering, or data science, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with substantial relevant experience
- Min. 2 + years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in the airline/flight operations industry
- Proven skills in Python or C#; experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, Dash) is an advantage
- Solid understanding of modern IT practices (Cloud, DevOps, etc.) and affinity for new technologies
- Ability to create clear and effective data visualizations, applying best practices to highlight key insights and support data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and argumentation skills, proactive and creative mindset, team-oriented
- Fluent in English (spoken/written), German is an advantage
