As a CAMO Operations Coordinator, you take responsibility for the smooth and safe operation of our global cargo fleet and manage complex technical decisions in real time.
Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Analysis and resolution of complex technical malfunctions in the global Lufthansa Cargo fleet, coordination of worldwide teams
- Acting as the central decision-making authority for crews, coordinating between Maintenance, Engineering, Flight Operations, and OEMs
- Evaluation and approval of technical solutions in accordance with aviation regulations; member of the MEL Control Board with decision-making authority
- Data-driven analyses in Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance, managing preventive measures
- Execution of global Maintenance Check Flights with program responsibility and oversight of Work Order assignments

To get your career off the ground with us, you bring technical expertise, experience in aircraft maintenance, and the decision-making strength needed for complex situations.
- Completed university degree relevant to the role, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through appropriate (technical) training and professional experience (e.g., state-certified technician, aviation engineering specialist, or master craftsman)
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance (e.g., certifying staff CAT A or CAT B)
- Excellent knowledge of the QM system and its processes, maintenance regulations, and international aviation law
- Fluent German and English skills
- Strong decision-making ability, resilience, teamwork skills, and willingness to work shifts and travel
- Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and presentation competence
