What you'll do:
- Develop material planning strategies aligned with LTME’s MRO schedules and sales targets
- Forecast demand for spare parts using maintenance data and usage history
- Set stock levels/reorder points to prevent shortages and excess
- Manage urgent requirements to ensure operational continuity
- Lead sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and supplier performance
- Coordinate with LHT Purchasing Alliance and leverage group contracts
- Build relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for cost-effective supply
- Ensure regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA/GCAA/LBA) in procurement
- Lead and develop planners and buyers, ensuring clear roles and communication
- Drive KPIs for availability, cost savings, and supplier performance
- Promote training, digitalization, and automation of processes
- Collaborate across functions to align materials with operational needs
- Ensure adherence to aviation, HSE, and company standards
- Mitigate supply disruptions with contingency planning
- Maintain documentation and traceability for airworthiness
- Oversee export control compliance, screening, and licensing
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Solid background in aviation
- 5–7 years of professional experience
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence
- Flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strategic mindset
- Excellent communicator, able to connect across all levels
