The Scheduler is responsible for:

  • Plan and schedule training assets (aircraft, flight training devices, and classroom and meeting spaces, flight crews) for broadcast to ATCA employees and students
  • Maintain information on student training progress
  • Report as necessary timelines and training progress
  • Collaborate as necessary with Management to understand the training priorities
  • Maintain expertise with the respective scheduling tools and software
  • Will communicate development needs as necessary to the department manager
  • Prepare data, analyze, and self-evaluate performance of scheduling and slot planning
  • As assigned perform dispatch function
  • As assigned perform customer and student services
  • High workload capacity, flexibility and a strong commitment are essential

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED desirable
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • 2 to 3 years asset planning experience required
  • Previous aviation experience working in a team environment desired
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to efficiently apply collaborative techniques
  • Good computer skills with Windows applications
  • Excellent skills in excel and outlook
  • Excellent customer orientation
  • Excellent commitment
  • Excellent professionalism
  • Travel may be required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
