Your tasks as an Engine Inspection Technician may include, among others:

  • Conduct inspections on corporate and commercial engines while actively helping to develop knowledge and sharing knowledge with production Mechanics based on relevant experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret engine manuals, aircraft manuals, work orders and job cards to perform required duties
  • Detect and identify wear, damage, and other errors or issues. Communicate and coordinate discrepancies through proper departmental channels for corrections or disposition
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Production operations, Engineering, EOC, Document Control and Mechanics to ensure the quality of the product in support of timely delivery to the customer

 

 * Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager or the Director of Quality

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • FAA Powerplant certification is required 
  • Considerable experience as a Mechanic or Quality Inspection in turbine engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul
  • Acceptable engine type experience includes V2500, CFM, GTF and RR
  • Experience on multiple engine types is preferred
  • MES - Must be a Senior Engine Mechanic (SEM)
  • Word, Excel and Outlook as user
