What you’ll do 

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the commercial and customer experience strategy, as well as the overall company strategy for the tour operator business 
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor positioning and commercial performance
  • Business Development: Evaluate new strategic growth opportunities, and identify new markets and business segments within the travel and tourism industry 
  • Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships across teams, maintain alignment with corporate strategy and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and regular reporting 
  • Company Steering: Link strategic long-term goals with annual & quarterly targets processes and facilitate an effective and transparent target steering process across the organization 
  • Executive Support: Assist the executive management team in decision-making, strategic prioritization and execution of key initiatives

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field 
  • 5+ years experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting within tourism
  • Solid knowledge of strategic planning frameworks and company steering methodologies

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership 
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and ability to derive insights from complex information 
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
