Your apprenticeship lasts 3 years (can be shortened) and takes place alternately in the company and at the vocational school (block teaching):
- You will work in fixed areas such as Flight Ops IT, Commercial IT and IT Operations and have the opportunity to choose from other exciting elective stations (e.g. IT Security & Architecture, Enterprise IT, etc.) and can thus help shape your training independently according to your interests
- You will develop software solutions (including planning, programming, quality assurance and program maintenance) and gain a comprehensive overview of the workflows and processes behind flight operations
- You also have the opportunity to get involved in trainee and student projects independently

Before starting your apprenticeship, you should have successfully completed a higher education entrance qualification. You should also bring the following with you in your hand luggage:
- The airline industry inspires and fascinates you
- You are interested in IT, especially software development
- You are highly motivated and proactive and work independently and precisely
- Teamwork is a matter of course for you
- You have a good knowledge of German and English (at least B2)
