Your tasks as an Detail Inspector may include, among others:
Tasks
- Performs Quality Control inspections to determine serviceability and repairability of components and sub-assemblies
- Provides final return to service on components, sub-assemblies and engines (with appropriate certification and authorization)
- Reads and interprets engine manuals, aircraft manuals and work orders to perform required duties
- Creates and uses necessary inspection documents such as Shop Travelers, Dimensional Insp. Sheets, etc
- Use’s precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) as needed
- Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
* Performs other duties as assigned by Quality Control Inspection Crew Chief

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- At least 2+ years of experience in related field
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Must be mechanically inclined with an aptitude for inspecting aviation parts (aviation preferred)
- Word, Excel and Outlook as user
